Reception to Year 6 Sports Day 2025

image

During Term 1, we held our Reception to Year 6 Sports Day at Walkerville Oval. The revised format, combining Junior Primary and Upper Primary students, created such a buzz. Our traditional drum line march kicked off the festivities, setting the tone for a day filled with exceptional sportsmanship.

The Junior Primary students continued to refine their athletic skills at a wide range of stations, including throwing, jumping, and running. They even enjoyed competing against their parents in a tug-of-war. The Upper Primary students experienced a good mix of competition and fun, demonstrating what they had learned in their sports lessons leading up to the day.

A big thank you to all students for their spirit and competitive participation throughout the sports day. Special thanks to Mr Laube and Mrs Morgan for the high level of expertise they demonstrated and the support they gave me throughout the sports day. Thanks also to all the staff who took on various roles both before and on the day. And finally, thank you to all the families, parents, and friends who came out to support the students and helped make the day feel like such a strong community event.
