Accelium Olympics 2024

Accelium is an online problem-solving game platform that stretches students’ learning. Incorporating scientific thinking, mathematical thinking and critical and creative thinking along with collaboration skills, strategic thinking, and decision-making.

In Term 2, our Year 3 to Year 6 students were given the opportunity to compete in the online Accelium Olympics competition, playing against artificial intelligence. The following students received school wide recognition:

Year 5 and Year 6 St Andrew’s School Competition

Jet – 1st
Carrie – 2nd
Evan – 3rd

Year 3 and Year 4 St Andrew’s School Competition

Alexander – 1st
Christopher – 2nd
Amaris – 3rd

Alexander not only placed 1st in our school competition, he also placed 3rd in the national tournament for Year 3 and Year 4. What a huge achievement!
